This striking sheet is a tribute to the work of François Boucher, court painter to King Louis XV. It should be noted that this is a purely collector's issue (so-called "Cinderella"), lacking authorization from the official postal administration and not recognized by the UPU. Each stamp features a different famous work by the artist, characterized by typical Rococo lightness and grace.
